American Airlines Introduces First Class for Pets
First class isn’t just for humans anymore. Many who travel in luxury also have furry friends that they are forced to leave behind due to a lack of resources on the part of the airlines. For them, traveling first class on American Airlines may be just the ticket. The airline is set to begin offering a first-of-its-kind “pet cabin” on select flights.
The new pet cabins are designed to carry a smaller dog or full-sized cat in a 19″ by 13″ carrier. On select flights between Los Angeles (LAX) and New York (JFK), and between San Francisco (SFO) and JFK, first class will include two pet cabins for those who prefer to keep their pets comfortable. The best part of the new pet cabins? Pampered pets won’t be crammed under the seat in front of you any longer.
