In fact, China Airlines has just given their business class cabin a luxury facelift with 78-inch lie flat seat/beds, a top-shelf entertainment system and sexy wood-grain accents.
Another recent indication to an improving economy is Emirates interest in developing their brand in Texas. Houston has the highest employment growth rate in the US and Emirates plans to be there to serve the business class needs with new aircrafts that feature 76 business class lie-flat beds.
